THE SAINT AELRED MISSION is a Pastoral Extension of The Catholic Diocese of Saint Bernard of Clarivaux for Saint Miriams Old Catholic Pro Cathedral of The American Province of The International Old Catholic Churches and serves those parishioners and interested persons in the Central New Jersey and Jersey shore areas. The Saint Joseph Mission in Cliffside Park serves the Northern New Jersey Bergen County area for those seeking Old Catholic traditions.
We seek to provide a welcoming embrace where all people can worship God, pray and receive the sacraments; including the unchurched, the disillusioned, the alienated and the marginalized. To welcome those who have been ignored, denied or excluded by the practices of other churches. In the warm traditions of the Catholic faith we always celebrate "an open table" and do not deny sacraments to any person seeking God. After all, its not about religion- its about a relationship!
