THERE ARE NEVER ANY FEES FOR PASTORAL SERVICES. Donations are accepted, but are never solicited. The following services are defined as Pastoral in nature and therefore free of any fee: VISITATIONS ( Hospital, Hospice, Nursing Home or Care Center, Homebound visitations or visits to places of imprisonment or confinement.) This includes any such Pastoral visits that would include bringing the HOLY EUCHARIST (Holy Communion) to any location for the purposes of BEDSIDE or HOMEBOUND COMMUNION, etc. SPIRITUAL COUNSELING ( in person, telephone or crisis) or INDIVIDUAL CONFESSION and RECONCILIATION.
HOME BLESSINGS: The suggested donation is $100
BAPTISMS ( child or infant. ) The suggested donation: $200 (Adult baptism donation suggested is $150)
FUNERALS, GRAVESIDE INTERNMENTS or MEMORIAL SERVICES: The suggested donation is $200
WEDDINGS, CIVIL UNIONS or COMMITMENT CEREMONIES are subject to the following schedule of fees and considerations:
EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2022- IN KEEPING WITH THE NEW POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS OF OUR DIOCESE- NEW PRICING EFFECTIVE THIS DATE, WILL COVER ALL VENUE CEREMONY WEDDINGS AND MUST BE ARRANGED WITH THE LINK BELOW. (INTIMATE and PRIVATE WEDDINGS, AS DEFINED BELOW- ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THESE NEW POLICIES.)
INTIMATE or PRIVATE ( Those conducted with a small handful of family and immediate friends and not at an "official venue". These are usually held in parks, homes or at improvised places like a restaurant, beach or lodge hall with attendance of 35 PERSONS OR LESS. ) FEE: $450* (*For such weddings that may require greater travel, the fee may be higher based on travel distance/tolls.) The fee for any weddings officiated inside hospitals or hospice is $150.
ELOPEMENTS. This is a new trend nowadays in weddings. The small intimate gathering of the couple and their witnesses; and perhaps parents, siblings and a small handful of close friends. In this case, we will use the price suggestion as mentioned above- for intimate or private weddings.
VENUE CEREMONIES ( Such as catering and reception halls, country clubs, churches, chapels or those other places in business for facilitating such ceremonies and with an invited guest list. ) FEE: $750 (Depending on venue and travel expenses. The priest does not normally attend the reception. If an invocation is desired at the reception, please advise. ) *$1000 Weddings with Eucharistic Holy Communion offered outside of Church. All locations. *See below. For weddings where our Priest will be a Concelebrant the FEE is $895 (Again adding in any applicable travel expenses).
REHEARSALS: Are usually a requirement for the couple and bridal party, we do not normally attend. If required to attend there is a $150 ADDITIONAL FEE.
In all of the above instances, the fee includes the priest taking possession of the wedding license and filing same and all other required legal documents and actions with the appropriate civil, state or commonwealth clerks or jurisdictions. Additionally, the couple receives a beautiful certificate presented by the Church and all marriages, unions and ceremonies; as well as Baptisms are recorded and archived by the Church for perpetuity. Ceremonies requested with less than 14 days preparation notice will incur an additional $150 SURCHARGE. There will also be a $100 SURCHARGE for all ceremonies requested on legal holidays. No weddings are held on designated Church Holy Days or Sundays before 3pm. *If you desire the service of the Holy Eucharist during your ceremony and it is outside of Church- it requires a Gospel Proclamation and time for Communion, so you need to account for that in the time of your ceremony. As Sacred and Eucharistic elements need to be brought and transported- a Communion Service weddings is $1000 regardless of location.
SAME SEX MARRIAGES, as now lawful are applicable to all the above costs and following provisions.
TRAVEL EXPENSES: Effective JUNE 1, 2022- TRAVEL FEES . Travel fees are included unless otherwise indicated here: The following NEW JERSEY COUNTIES WILL INCUR A $60 TRAVEL FEE: Essex County, Somerset County and SW "Panhandle" of Monmouth County. $75 TRAVEL FEE: Bergen, Burlington, Hudson, Mercer, Morris and Ocean County (south of Route 37). $100 TRAVEL FEE: Atlantic, Camden, Hunterdon, Passaic and Ocean County (Route 72 & LBI). $200 TRAVEL FEE: Cape May County. (NO TRAVEL to Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem, Sussex and Warren.) NEW JERSEY COUNTIES NOT LISTED HAVE NO ADDITIONAL TRAVEL FEES. There are no overnight stay destination location weddings considered. There will be a $250 TRAVEL FEE, to cover tolls, for all ceremonies officiated within The City of New York and all Boros thereof. $350 TRAVEL FEE, for Orange, Nassau, Rockland and Westchester Counties in New York. York. We are registered with The City Clerk's Office of The City of New York and can perform marriages in New York City and all associated Boros. Unless specifically specified previously, no other ceremonies accepted in New York State.
DEPOSITS are required upon agreeing to use our priest(s) as your wedding Officiant. DEPOSITS are $250. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. Expressing an interest in our wedding officiant services, even to the extent of an exchange of a series of emails DOES NOT constitute a contractual agreement to perform such services on the date in question, unless a deposit- as previously explained, has been received, acknowledged or deposited, without return.

Our priests have both Undergraduate and Post Graduate Seminary Education. Our priests are part of the Worldwide Old Catholic Communion and officiated weddings are sanctioned and recorded in Church records for perpetuity. You should ask yourself- if you choose an online wedding officiant, what is their education and training and- will you be able to locate them, their website or your records- years from now? This is an important consideration and why you might think our fees expensive.
